We were contacted by an English-speaking German veterinarian for a woman who was looking for an American Eskimo to bring new blood into the white Giant German Spitz breed ...

After many emails we  told her about a litter of  puppies that we had (Alpine's A Walk In The Clouds (Ben) x Graywerth's Mystical Rose (Callie)) and mentioned that we were keeping a close eye on a female...

Corresponding back and forth during the summer, it was decided that I would make the trip with Ms. Puppy to Germany in October of 2002.  They decided to call her "Penny" because she came  to them from Pennsylvania...

They were pleased as punch when they saw her...
She is an outgoing little girl...
She snuggled right into their arms and into their hearts and claimed the most expensive pillow in the pile for her own...

Penny will be shown in Europe as a German Spitz (Grossspitz (Weiss))...

We are  extremely delighted and proud that Alpine American Eskimos was selected to come to the  aid of the German counterpart of the American Eskimo.

Penny will be starting her show career in March 2003.
She is making quite an impression on everyone who meets her.

I just found that you are mentioning Penny on your website. I have seen her 3 times at shows here now and I like her better and better! She has such a pretty face, and the pigmentation is 100%.... Good luck for future breeding ... I have written a German language book on the Keeshond, and I am currently showing a Keeshond dog...
